About this reference
These shortcuts come from GSPro's default keyboard layout. They work whether you're using a built-in keyboard, an external Bluetooth one, or a paired tablet keyboard. Some shortcuts require Ctrl or Shift modifiers. Those are noted on each key in the visual above and in the categorized list.
One thing trips people up before the keys ever do: GSPro reads a shortcut only while it is the active window. Tab over to a browser, a recording tool, or the desktop, and your key presses go there instead, even on a physical keyboard. Click back onto GSPro and the same keys work again. See fix GSPro losing focus for the full explainer.
GSPro updates its key bindings occasionally. If a shortcut on this page doesn't fire for you, check the in-game Tab overlay or report it and we'll update.
Keys marked with an asterisk (8, 9, 0) only work in GSPro's On-Course Practice mode. They do nothing during a normal round.
GSPro keyboard shortcut FAQ
What are the keyboard shortcuts for GSPro?
GSPro maps most in-round actions to single keys. Change clubs with I and K, drop to the putter with U, take a mulligan with Ctrl+M, aim with the arrow keys, and toggle camera and green views with keys like Y, G, and C. The full list, grouped by category, is on this page.
How do I change clubs in GSPro with the keyboard?
Press I to move up a club and K to move down. Press U to switch straight to the putter. These work from the tee and the fairway without opening any menu.
What is the mulligan shortcut in GSPro?
Ctrl+M replays your last shot as a mulligan. It is one of the most-used shortcuts during a casual round.
How do I aim in GSPro using the keyboard?
Use the left and right arrow keys to move your aim. Press A to reset aim back to the default target line. The up and down arrows adjust shot shape and aim point depending on the screen you are on.
Which key shows the heat map or green grid in GSPro?
Press Y for the shot heat map, G for the green grid, P for the pin indicator, and O for the flyover. These let you read the green and the hole before you swing.
Can I control GSPro without using the keyboard?
Yes. Course Control puts these shortcuts on your phone as labeled buttons. You scan a QR code, your phone connects over local WiFi, and you tap to fire each command. No keyboard at the screen and no app to install on the phone.
Or skip the memorization
Course Control turns the shortcuts you press most during a round, like Mulligan, Tee Left/Right, Heat Map, Flyover, and Aim Point, into labeled, color-coded buttons on your phone. The rest get a trackpad mode for full mouse and keyboard control. No keyboard to fumble for. No memorizing. Scan a QR code, your phone becomes the remote.
