Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Course Control desktop application (the app) and this website, both operated by Enders Design, LLC ("Course Control," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing, activating, or using the app, or by purchasing a license, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

What Course Control is

Course Control is a desktop app for Windows 10 and 11 that lets a phone, tablet, or laptop send controls to GSPro over your local WiFi. It is an independent, third-party product. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by GSPro. GSPro is a trademark of its respective owner.

What you're buying

A Course Control license is a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual right to install and use the app for personal, non-commercial use, subject to the limits below. You are not buying a copy of the software outright. We, and our licensors, keep all intellectual property rights in the app. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute it, except to the extent applicable law specifically permits despite this limitation.

License limits

Each license activates on up to two devices at a time, enforced by our license processor, LemonSqueezy. If you reach the limit, for example after rebuilding a PC, you can move a license yourself: deactivate it on the old machine from the app, then activate it on the new one. No need to contact support for that.

All patch and minor updates within the version you purchased are free for the lifetime of that version. A future major version (v2 and beyond) is a separate purchase; existing owners get a discount, and anyone who bought within six months of a major release gets the upgrade free.

Using the app in a commercial setting, a paid practice facility or simulator-bay rental, needs a separate commercial license. Email us if that is your situation. If you install a beta key or a pre-release build, it comes with no warranty, may change or break without notice, and is for evaluation only.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's terms. We never see or store your card details.

You can request a refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. Email contact@thecoursecontrol.com with your order details; a refunded purchase has its license deactivated. If you start a chargeback without asking us for a refund first, we may terminate the license right away. We would rather sort it out directly, so email us first.

Your responsibilities

• You need your own working copy of GSPro and a compatible Windows PC. Course Control does not include or grant any rights to GSPro itself, and we cannot guarantee compatibility with every launch monitor, PC, or future GSPro release.
• You are responsible for keeping your license key private and for how the app is used on your network.
• You will not use the app to interfere with GSPro, other players, or any network you do not control, or to violate any law or anyone's rights.

No warranty

Course Control is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every launch monitor, PC, or GSPro version. Safety mode reduces but does not eliminate the chance of an unintended input reaching your desktop.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Enders Design, LLC and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or this site, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to cover Enders Design, LLC for any claims, damages, or expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, that come from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the app.

Termination

We may end your license if you materially breach these terms, for example by publicly sharing your license key, reverse engineering the app, or filing a fraudulent chargeback. If that happens, stop using the app and uninstall it. You can stop using the app at any time; refunds follow the 30-day window above.

This website

This site is informational and used to distribute and support the app. See the privacy page for what we collect and why. Content on this site, including the Course Control name and logo, belongs to us; GSPro-related names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used to describe compatibility only.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute we cannot resolve informally goes to binding arbitration in Indiana under the American Arbitration Association's rules, except either side may bring a qualifying small-claims case locally, or seek an injunction to protect intellectual property. You and we agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as part of a class action.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we update the "last updated" date above. Material changes get announced in the app or on this site at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the app or site after a change means you accept the update.
