What Course Control collects, what it does not, and why. Written in plain language. No account, no selling your data, no ad tracking.

The short version
Your golf controls never leave your home network. The website uses basic, anonymous analytics so we can see which pages help. If you hand us your email, we use it to reply or to tell you when the app launches. The phone controller can send anonymous usage stats, and you can switch that off. If you buy a license, LemonSqueezy handles the payment and we only get your email and key. That is the whole story. The detail is below.
Your control data stays local
When you control GSPro from your phone, every button press goes straight from your phone to your PC over your own WiFi. It does not route through us or any cloud server. We never see your shots, scores, courses, or how you play. There is no account to create to use the controller.
What this website collects
This marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It records anonymous, aggregate things like which pages get visited and which buttons get clicked. We use it to learn what is useful and fix what is not. We do not build ad profiles, we do not sell this data, and there is no login.
Google sets its own cookies to do this. If you would rather not be measured at all, most browsers let you block analytics cookies or send a Do Not Track signal, and tools like uBlock Origin stop it cold.
If you give us your email
A few forms on this site ask for your email: launch notify, beta signup, and contact. Each is optional. We use your address only to reply or to tell you when the app launches. The notify list is double opt-in, so you confirm before anything sends, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell or rent your email, and we do not add you to lists you did not ask for.
When you buy a license
Course Control sells through LemonSqueezy, our payment and license processor. You pay LemonSqueezy directly and they handle the card details. We never see or store your card. We receive your email and a license key, which we use to activate your copy and send updates.
When you enter that key in the app, it checks with LemonSqueezy to confirm it is valid. Moving to a new PC works the same way: the app releases the key from the old machine, then activates it on the new one. That exchange sends your license key and an install identifier to LemonSqueezy. Their privacy policy covers this data.
The phone controller app
The controller can send anonymous usage stats: counts of which buttons get pressed and basic device info like screen size, orientation, theme, and language. It carries no IP address, no name, and no gameplay data. We use it to decide which controls matter. It honors your browser Do Not Track setting, and you can turn it off anytime in the app under Help, then Privacy.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your data.
- Run third-party ad trackers or build an advertising profile of you.
- Require an account to use the product.
- Touch your gameplay. Control signals stay on your WiFi.
